Virtues of the Quran

The Quran is the light of the believer, the life of the heart, and the guidance for mankind.

Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrates that Rasulullah (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said :

“Indeed the one who has nothing of the Qur’an in his Heart is like a ruined house”.

The Quran — The Banquet of Allah

The Noble Quran fills the hearts with light, revives the soul, and brings mankind closer to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions emphasized the importance of keeping the Quran alive within our hearts.

Abdullah (Ibn Masood) (رضي الله عنه) said :

“Indeed, this Quran is the banquet of Allah, so take from it as much as you are able. For indeed, I do not know of anything more devoid of goodness than a house in which there is nothing from the Book of Allah. And indeed, the heart which contains nothing from the Book of Allah is ruined, like a deserted house in ruins with no inhabitant.”
